Join your colleagues for the GEOINT 2011 Welcome Reception at Sunset Station for Six Flags Over Texas, a tribute to the unique blend of culture, cuisine and celebration giving Texas its distinct character.
Six different nations have governed Texas — Spain, France, Mexico, the Republic of Texas, the Confederate States of America, and the United States of America — and we’ll provide the sights, sounds and flavors of these six periods of life in Texas.
The evening’s cuisine varies from paella, barbecue and quesadillas to fried chicken, bison burgers, french cheeses and pastries as well as a potato bar. Entertainment will range from Flamenco dancers and a Mariachi band.
Built in 1902 as the Southern Pacific Railroad Depot, Sunset Station offers a unique blend of culture, cuisine and celebration. The 10-acre event facility will offer attendees plenty of opportunities to experience the historic features while networking with peers.
We look forward to seeing you on Sunday evening!

The Boogie Knights were originally formed in October of 1992 as a Halloween gag in Los Angeles, Ca. Almost overnight, the Boogie Knights took the live music scene by storm. The Boogie Knights have inherited a worldwide reputation, performing on various MTV programs and major sporting events, live shows across the nation and overseas, as well as appearances on network television shows and films. Complete with choreography, polyester, afro’s and bell bottoms the Boogie Knights are heralded as “The greatest disco revival show in the world.”
