GEOINT 2011 Housing & Registration Now Open
June 21, 2011
Registration & housing for the GEOINT 2011 Symposium is now open. To book your hotel room, visit the GEOINT 2011 Housing page.
The Foundation also announced it is for a limited time offering last year’s pricing for some full-symposium registration categories.
Given budget constraints and current economic conditions, USGIF felt it necessary to provide the defense, intelligence and homeland security communities an even more affordable way to attend GEOINT 2011. Until July 15 USGIF members pay only $1,099 and non-member industry pays $1,299, which are the same as last year’s regular registration pricing. For government employees and active-duty military personnel, USGIF took it one step further and reduced this year’s price to $749—a $50 savings from last year’s cost. The price for full-symposium academia, young professional, spouse registration and the one-day, expo-only pass remain the same this year as in 2010. Register here for the GEOINT 2011 Symposium.
Full-symposium registration costs do not increase at any time for active-duty military and government employees as well as academia, young professionals and spouses. However, registration prices will increase on July 16 and again on Sept. 2 for both USGIF industry members and non-members alike. USGIF encourages all industry and contractors to register now and take advantage of these amazing savings.
The GEOINT 2011 Symposium takes place Oct. 16-19 at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center in San Antonio, Texas. This year’s theme is Forging Integrated Intelligence. Keynotes for the symposium include Gen. Keith B. Alexander, U.S. Army, commander, U.S. Cyber Command, and director, National Security Agency; Mr. Bruce Carlson, director, National Reconnaissance Office; the Honorable James R. Clapper Jr., Director of National Intelligence; Gen. Douglas Fraser, U.S. Air Force, commander, U.S. Southern Command; Gen. C. Along with these invaluable keynote speakers, GEOINT 2011 offers panels and breakout tracks on online/on-demand capabilities, human geography and socio-cultural dynamics, intelligence integration, open source GEOINT, weapons of mass destruction, crowd source intelligence, international commercial satellite imagery, intelligence in the cloud and much more.
Last year more than 4,000 total attendees came to hear speakers discuss multi-INT topics and see the latest technologies from over 220 exhibitors in 100,000 square feet of displays. GEOINT 2010 broke all previous attendance records and further solidified the annual GEOINT Symposium as the nation’s largest intelligence event of the year.
